 Claire is the Director of the Centre for Youth & Criminal Justice (CYCJ) and leads CYCJ in its work to improve children’s lives through improving policy, practice, participation and research. Claire has recently completed Rights Respecting? Scotland’s approach to children in conflict with the law and her work is currently focused on ensuring that Scotland’s approach to children in conflict with the law respects the rights of all and is compliant with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Claire is also on the board of the Life Changes Trust, established to invest £50 million to improve the lives of care experienced young people and people with dementia and their carers.
