Professor Jennifer Davidson

Jennifer is Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the Institute for Inspiring Children’s Futures at the University of Strathclyde – a joint venture between the Centre for Excellence for Children’s Care and Protection (CELCIS) and CYCJ. Jennifer is driven by a commitment to children’s rights having an impact on children’s day-to-day lived experiences, and on the reality of international rights improving local children’s services throughout the world. Her leadership of national children’s services change programmes, as well as in the range of international projects for the implementation of the UN Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children, reflect this motivation.
