Professor Jennifer Davidson

Jennifer is Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the Institute for Inspiring Children’s Futures at the University of Strathclyde – a joint initiative at the University of Strathclyde with a collective vision of ensuring that children and young people have what they need to reach their full potential, particularly those who face adversity. Jennifer is driven by a commitment to children’s rights having an impact on children’s day-to-day lived experiences, and on the reality of international rights improving local children’s services throughout the world. Her leadership of national children’s services change programmes, as well as in the range of international projects for the implementation of the UN Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children, and the UN Sustainable Development Goal 16 to achieve Justice for Children, reflect this motivation.
