START-AV training

CYCJ is offering training in START AV (Short-Term Assessment of Risk and Treatability – Adolescent Version). This will take place in Room 218, Lord Hope Building at Strathclyde University).

Register via our one stop shop.

Intended for use with young people (aged 12 to 18) in mental health and justice settings, the START:AV facilitates a review of a young person’s histories and short-term risk for multiple adverse outcomes including harm to others and rule violations (violence, non-violent offences, substance abuse, unauthorized absences) and harm to the young person (suicide, non-suicidal self-injury, victimization, health neglect).
