Coronavirus: Changes to working practices

In light of recent Government, NHS Scotland and University of Strathclyde guidance on the Coronavirus situation, we are making necessary and essential changes to our ways of working.

The CYCJ team will now all be working from home, when we are healthy and able to do so. This means that we will no longer be able to attend face-to-face visits, events or any other form of social gatherings.

All upcoming events, training and Forums will be postponed until further notice. This includes the National Youth Justice Conference. These will be re-arranged, for either later in the year or whenever official guidance states that it is safe to do so. If you have any queries about a particular event/training, please get in touch.

We are committed to doing everything we can to ensure that we continue to offer support to our practitioner base. We will be available on the CYCJ office number (0141 444 8622), on email (cycj@strath.ac.uk) and can arrange to hold meetings via Zoom or other means. All creative and flexible modes of working are being considered – and we are open to your suggestions too.

We appreciate that this is a hugely challenging time for everyone, and want to reassure you that we are here to help in every way we can.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
