CYCJ is on the road

CYCJ is gearing up to take to the road and come to a venue near you.

We have recently updated our learning and development Roadshows – a chance for busy practitioners to access and deliver relevant and up-to-date staff training, without having to leave your local area.

The CYCJ Roadshow involves our team travelling to locations across Scotland to meet with youth justice practitioners working in local authorities, voluntary sector organisations, residential settings or any other relevant areas. The format of these events is flexible, and we are keen to tailor the scope in order to best meet local needs.

For topics currently offered, click here.  Please let us know if there’s a topic that might of interest to you or others which isn’t included – we can offer a bespoke option.

The roadshows have been very well received, with positive feedback including “Fab training, one of the best ones I have been to” and “The training was highly valued by all those who attended”.

If you feel that a CYCJ Roadshow in your area is something that would attract a reasonable number of practitioners, please get in touch as soon as possible so that we can begin to work out logistics such as venue and attendee numbers.

Ultimately, CYCJ operates most effectively when our links with practice are wide and varied, when we can draw learning from your contemporary experiences and share these with others across the country. So, if you fancy a Roadshow without the antiques, get in touch!
