Last month, CYCJ’s Research Fellow, Nina Vaswani, in collaboration with Kibble Education and Care Centre, shared research findings on the extent of bereavement and adverse childhood experiences in children and young people in contact with the justice system in a one hour live webinar.
The webinar considered how these childhood experiences might shape contact with the justice system and, in turn, the impact that the system might have on children’s experiences. The role of gender in children’s experiences was also discussed.
