Technology Assisted Harmful Sexual Behaviour and Children and Young People

Around a third of child sexual abuse is perpetrated by children and young people themselves, and an increasing proportion includes sexual abuse and exploitation online. In this CYCJ Associates webinar (May 13, 2021) Stuart Allardyce (Director, Stop it Now! Scotland the Lucy Faithfull Foundation) discussed key messages for practitioners from research around identification, assessment and interventions.

Stuart also shared early findings from ROSA, Stop It Now! Scotland’s project working with children and young people who have displayed harmful sexual behaviours online. This is being evaluated by CYCJ.
