CYCJ’s Director Professor Fiona Dyer has called for a preventative approach to tackling knife crime in a recent article published by the Sunday Post.
She reiterated that the evidence shows that punitive responses do not deter knife carrying, and that a range of interventions and listening to children and young people, are key.
