Aaron works as a Research Associate at CYCJ. His ESRC PhD examined the impact and effectiveness of the Bureau Model – a youth crime diversion model that functions exclusively within Wales.
Prior to joining CYCJ, Aaron worked at Unicef UK as a Youth Justice Specialist, where as part of a
year-long project, he utilised his existing academic knowledge to help lead-on and author ‘A Rights-Based Analysis of Youth Justice in the United Kingdom’, a report which looked at the devolved and non-devolved policy contexts in which youth justice functions in each of the four nations from a children’s rights perspective.
As part of his role, Aaron also contributed youth justice expertise to other key Unicef UK reports and submissions relating to children rights.
