Lizzie has an MA (Hons) in Social Policy and Social Anthropology; and recently received a Diploma of Higher Education in Fine Art from the Glasgow School of Art. With a background in community planning and development, community justice, participation and policy enactment and reform, Lizzie worked as Community Justice Coordinator for Shetland, before taking up post with former third sector organisation, Positive Prison? Positive Futures, driving the Amplifying the Voice of Young People Project. In her role at CYCJ, Lizzie is dedicated to supporting the participation of children and young people in conflict with the law, through implementation of our ambitious Participation and Engagement Strategy; as well as helping to champion and embed participatory practice across the Youth Justice sector. In addition to her professional background, she aspires to draw on her immersive, creative experiences, as inspiration for fresh approaches to participation and engagement with children, young people and communities.
