Wendy Francisxavier

Participation Worker

Wendy has joined the team as a Participation Worker where she will be supporting the delivery of an ambitious participation strategy for CYCJ by working with stakeholders including children and young people to help embed participation across the sector.

Since graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice in 2017, Wendy has worked voluntary in the Third Sector as an Advisory Board Member and in the Public Sector with Police Scotland.

Her interests are underpinned by the experiences of people involved with the justice system and how organisations respond to them. Wendy is an advocate for positive change and how this can be influenced at policy level through greater participation by encouraging people with lived experience to get involved.
