Diversion from Prosecution Forum

The 2023 joint inspection of Diversion highlighted a number of steps that should be considered in order to improve the process of providing a swift response to conflict with the law, and to deliver effective diversion.

The next DfP forum in January will feature input from Jenny Hamilton from COPFS who will summarise the work COPFS has undertaken in order to respond to the review, leading to discussion as to how this will impact upon police, local authorities and third sector partners, as well as those alleged to have caused harm and those who have been harmed.

You can read more about the review here: https://www.gov.scot/publications/joint-review-diversion-prosecution/documents/

All welcome to attend from both youth and adult diversion, as well as partners from Police, health, education, justice and addiction services.

This event will run from 10:00 – 12:00 on the 16th January.
