Online Safety and Security – How can you help?

What do you think about when you hear the words cyber security?

People often think about technical things, and assume that the responsibility for keeping everyone safe and secure online lies with the IT department. However, you can help protect your organisation and the people who use your service.

This online safety and security Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and CYCJ webinar is tailored to justice social work staff, but is relevant for all social work staff, including management grades.

The webinar aims to bring a sense of reality to online safety and security. It will also provide insight into what the Scottish Social Services Council are doing to support the social service sector to raise their awareness and enhance their learning in relation to online safety and security, including the introduction of new Open Badges.

If you have any questions about the webinar, you can contact SSSC Cyber Resilience Coordinator, Scott Tees at

Please note that joining instructions will be sent out to registered attendees 24 hours before the event.
