Poverty (In)Justice

This event will examine the impact of poverty upon children and families in Scotland, and its links to adverse outcomes. Workshops from Power To The People, My Bnk, Includem, South Lanarkshire Council and Living Rent will highlight potential steps that practitioners can take to ameliorate this issue.

Chaired by the Children and Young People’s Commissioner, this event will combine both academic and practice based knowledge; attendees will learn about recent research whilst also developing practical tools that can improve the material circumstances of those experiencing poverty.

Free to attend, with tea, coffee and a light lunch provided.
