Applications are now open for a conference on restorative justice organised by the Centre for Youth & Criminal Justice and Sacro.
‘Restorative Practice in the aftermath of serious crime: Examination of the evidence and identification of learning for practice’ will take place on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the University of Strathclyde. It is free to attend.
Keynote speakers who are leading experts in the field will discuss current research into restorative justice, and explore the use of such approaches in the aftermath of serious offences such as sexual assault and homicide cases. Workshops will showcase and explore restorative justice practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for practitioners who have experience of using restorative justice practice with lower tariff cases to find out more about applying it to situations involving more serious forms of crime.
