CYCJ is delighted to announce that Dr Paul Rigby, Social Work lecturer and leading authority on child trafficking, has been confirmed as an External Examiner for the Children and Young People’s Centre for Justice’s (CYCJ) Postgraduate Certificate on Children & Young People in Conflict with the Law.
As a Lecturer in Social Work and the BSc (Hons) Social Work Programme Director at the University of Stirling, Dr Paul Rigby has extensive experience of working in the fields of child protection and criminal justice. His research interests include child exploitation and trafficking, and he is a member of a number of policy and practice advisory groups. In 2020, Paul was appointed to provide expert advice to the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner (IASC), as its only Scotland-based member.
