Gathering experiences of Children’s Hearings during COVID-19

Can you help us to better understand the experiences of everyone involved in Children’s Hearings in Scotland since lockdown and social distancing began – and improve how things are done?

We are part of a collaboration with CELCIS and other partners to understand the views and experiences of people who participated in, or wanted to participate in, a Children’s Hearing in Scotland during COVID-19 and the subsequent lockdown conditions. We would like to hear from young people over the age of 12, families, panel members, social workers, safeguarders, reporters, solicitors, advocacy workers and anyone else involved. The information and feedback will be used to assist in improving everyone’s experiences of hearings.

You can take the survey online, or it can completed by telephone – just text 07903 323 598 and we will arrange a time to speak which is convenient for you. The survey will be live from Monday, July 13 to Thursday, July 16, and we would appreciate your help in engaging as many young people (12+) and family members to take part.
