New Vacancy: Communications and Engagement Advisor

The Children and Young People’s Centre for Justice (CYCJ) is looking for a new Communications and Engagement Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced communications professional to lead and shape the boundary-spanning work of CYCJ.

We bring together research, practice, and lived experience to ensure that Scotland’s approach to children and young people in conflict with the law is rights-respecting, contributing to better outcomes for our children, young people and communities.

Our focus for 2020-2025 is on supporting Scotland to comply with its international commitments for children and young people in conflict with the law in relation to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), find our strategy on our website.

The Communications and Engagement Advisor will be at the heart of driving and showcasing this change. In this role you will develop and implement a communications strategy, lead on communications and marketing activities, engage with CYCJ’s stakeholders, oversee the website and all social media platforms and ensure corporate brand guidelines are adhered to and upheld. You will also support the planning and implementation of the National Youth Justice Conference, and related events and seminars.

Deadline: January 5, 2025

This post has funding to March 2026 with indicative funding for future years.
