Team CYCJ is limbering up to support Scotland’s children and young people – with a 10k run.
Seven runners will take on the Balfron 10k on April 27 for Aberlour, the largest, solely Scottish, children’s charity.
Every year, Aberlour provides help to over 6,000 of the country’s most vulnerable children, young people and their families. They do this through specialist services, partnership working and major fundraising events. Aberlour’s work is endorsed by celebrity ambassadors who include Dr Who actor Peter Capaldi and Olympic Gold Medallist, Katherine Grainger CBE.
CYCJ Director Claire Lightowler says: “As a Centre that is passionate about bettering the lives of children and young people, we are fully supportive of Aberlour’s mission and values. We’d be delighted if you could make a donation, no matter how small – it will be going to an excellent cause. We promise to share a photo at the finish line as proof that we did it!”
You can sponsor the CYCJ runners by making a secure donation to our Just Giving page. If you would like to donate money using another method, please contact us at cycj@strath.ac.uk.
