Inclusion Statement

At CYCJ we aspire for a world where Scotland’s response to children and young people who come into conflict with the law is guided by principles of equity, compassion, and inclusivity. Our work across Research, Practice Development, and Participation and Engagement aspires to achieve transformative change, pioneering initiatives that elevate the lives of children and young people in conflict with the law and contribute to the creation of a just and inclusive society.

We recognise that every child and young person is unique, possessing enormous potential and entitled to an environment that fosters growth rather than perpetuating cycles of exclusion. Our vision is rooted in the firm belief that inclusion is not only a moral imperative but a catalyst for innovation and sustainable, positive change. At CYCJ we seek to improve the accessibility and inclusivity of children and young people from all backgrounds and groups throughout our work.
