Educational exclusion and inclusion – Common themes from the Improving Life Chances Group

This paper has been produced by the Improving Life Chances Implementation Group on behalf of the Youth Justice Improvement Board.

It aims to highlight the additional issues faced by young people at risk of school exclusion, what can support school inclusion and the positive impact on outcomes for young people.

The Implementation Groups were set up as part of the Scottish Government’s Youth Justice Strategy. They are project managed by CYCJ and governed by the Youth Justice Improvement Board. They are on the themes of: Improving Life Chances; Advancing the Whole System Approach; Developing Capacity and Improvement.
