Info Sheet 92: The Age of Criminal Responsibility: What you need to know

The Age of Criminal Responsibility (Scotland) Act 2019 (legislation.gov.uk) was passed in Parliament in 2019. Whilst almost half of provisions in the Act have already been fully or partially commenced, a number are still to be brought into force. To keep practitioners informed, we have produced this Info Sheet by Fiona Dyer, which advises of these changes and what they mean for vulnerable children and those who are supporting them.
