Youth Justice: A Study of Local Authority Reintegration and Transitions Practice Across Scotland

This paper, written by CYCJ’s Debbie Nolan, provides an overview of current practice in most of Scotland’s local authorities with young people, from the point that they enter secure care or custody by the order of the court, throughout the period of detention and post-release.

This paper follows on from the paper Youth Justice: A Study of Local Authority Practice Across Scotland, published in July 2015. Both papers draw on data from a survey of Whole System Approach leads in 27 of Scotland’s 32 local authority areas.
