Within Scotland young people in conflict with the law are increasingly seen as a distinct cohort, requiring a tailored justice approach. In this Information Sheet Dr Aaron Brown shares some of the key findings from a Youth Court literature review examining the experiences of young people at court before sharing some of the learning from his recent report, co-authored by Dr Nina Vaswani, on the Glasgow Youth Court, which has been operational since June 2021.
