CYCJ provides support to the small but significant number of children and young people who present a high risk to themselves and others. This group includes children and young people involved in sexually harmful behaviour, sexual offending behaviour and serious acts of violence.
Managing high risk youth was identified as a priority by the Scottish Government, which means it is supported by a CYCJ Champions Group. This carries out regular networking and training sessions for practitioners across Scotland to attend and contribute to.
