Sharon’s professional experience is in secure care where she has built upon her career over two decades. Her previous experience includes working as a House Manager, where she led a team supporting children with complex needs. She worked closely with children throughout their time in secure care, supporting their individual care, safeguarding and development needs, and working alongside colleagues and partner agencies to plan for any transitions.
She has achieved a number of continuing professional development qualifications and holds a postgraduate qualification in Child Protection. In her current role with CYCJ, Sharon draws on her practice experience to support the development of practice across secure care and contribute to learning and discussion with the wider workforce.
