Summary:
This webinar focused on the findings from the 2025 secure care census, and examined what changes have occurred within the secure estate since the first census was undertaken in 2018, and over the past decades. Content examined in this webinar include the life experiences of children prior to entering secure care, the nature of concerns surrounding this cohort, and the profile of those entering the space. Attendees should therefore be aware that discussion of sensitive topics will take place.
[Trigger warning: This webinar discussed issues related to child sexual abuse and harmful sexual behaviour. These issues can be difficult to think about and may resonate with personal or professional experiences. Please prioritise your wellbeing – attend only watch back if it feels right for you and take breaks as needed.]
