Adam Elliott is the Founder of The Long Game Training, using his lived experience to engage both young people and professionals with an authentic and insightful perspective on the challenges facing young people today, including child exploitation, youth violence and exclusion
Adam began his career in adult social care, qualifying through an apprenticeship and spending five years supporting vulnerable adults before transitioning into youth work as a School Link Youth Worker. It was during this time that he developed a strong passion for early intervention, inclusion and improving outcomes for young people.
He is currently an Inclusion Manager within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), supporting young people with diverse and complex needs. His work focuses on reducing exclusions, increasing engagement in education and helping young people access positive pathways into education, employment and training.
As a Churchill Fellow (2026), Adam is exploring international approaches to preventing youth exploitation and improving opportunities for young people who are not in education, employment or training. His research aims to strengthen practice and contribute to policy and service development across the UK.
Since the age of 16, Adam has worked with Leaders Unlocked, starting as a Youth Justice Young Advocate and leading projects focused on education and identifying early warning signs of vulnerability. He has also contributed to Comic Relief’s Safer Homes Project, served on the Youth Endowment Fund’s Youth Advisory Board, and worked with the Alliance for Youth Justice, championing inclusive education, early intervention and evidence-informed practice.
Adam is driven by a simple belief: that long-term investment, meaningful relationships and genuine hope can transform the futures of young people, their families and their communities.
