Katya Allcott-Amjad (she/her)
Communications and Engagement Advisor
Katya is CYCJ’s Communications and Engagement Advisor, leading on the development and delivery of all communications activity, spanning internal communications, digital marketing and promotions, social media content development and traditional communications activity and engagement with the media.
Katya’s professional experience, predominantly in the Scottish voluntary sector, has spanned administrative and office management roles, to engagement and development of volunteers before progressing into roles focused on stakeholder engagement, marketing, communications and digital development projects. She has achieved a number of continuing professional development qualifications and has an academic background in Theatre Studies.
Katya is passionate about using communications to create connection, inspire, influence and create change for rights-respecting justice for children and young people in conflict with the law. Katya is the co-chair of the Community Confidence group short life working group on media.
