Carole is a Practice Development Advisor, leading on both the delivery of CYCJ’s Postgraduate Certificate on Children and Young People in Conflict with the Law and the Developmental Wellbeing Approach, a trauma-informed, rights-respecting, and relational framework for reducing children and young people’s harmful behaviour. She also has a focus on Contextual Safeguarding, measuring outcomes for children and young people, and is a member of the Youth Justice Improvement Board’s Data subgroup.

Qualifying as a Chartered Forensic Psychologist in 2013 Carole’s experience of working in the justice field is wide-ranging including working as a Senior Psychologist within custodial settings, Manager of Multi-systemic Therapy teams in a children and families setting and as an Academic Supervisor for Forensic Psychologists in Training.

Carole is registered with the HCPC, BPS and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
