Katya Allcott (she/her)
Communications and Engagement Advisor
As Communications and Engagement Advisor, Katya leads on and coordinates CYCJ’s communications work, managing all their digital outputs and channels to disseminate important information to their audiences and influence change.
Katya has had a varied professional background, starting her career in volunteer and office management at a grassroots charity in Pollokshields in Glasgow. She has worked with Scottish Mentoring Network, engaging with and managing their membership and more recently for children’s charity and law firm, Clan Childlaw.
Across all these roles Katya has taken a keen interest in the use of digital in the charity sector, seeking to enhance her skills in this area wherever she can. She has also used her skills to support projects for Third Sector Lab including the creation of service guides for the Aye Mind website.
Katya lives in Glasgow but retains strong ties to her family home in Speyside and loves to visit, spending time in the countryside with her family.
