Pamela Morrison is a Practice Development Advisor at CYCJ, where she supports the delivery of Scotland’s Restorative Justice Action Plan, ensuring the rights and needs of children and young people remain central to implementation.

A longstanding advocate of restorative justice, Pamela is passionate about promoting restorative approaches and values. She has a particular interest in embedding restorative practice within schools, residential care and wider children’s services, so that children and young people experience these approaches consistently and restorative values become part of everyday relationships, responses and cultures.

Since 2024 Pamela has supported the delivery of the Postgraduate Certificate in Children in Conflict with the Law, contributing to the development of practitioners both nationally and internationally. She also leads CYCJ’s work on children in police custody, working closely with partners across Scotland to reduce and prevent the use of police custody for children.
