After qualifying as a Social Worker from the University of Strathclyde in 2009 Ross worked within a Youth Justice area team in Glasgow before moving to CYCJ 2017. His work here focuses on project managing the Whole System Approach Implementation Group, implementation of the Children (Care and Justice) Act and progressing use of Diversion from Prosecution. Other areas of work include delivery of START-AV and CARM, and helping CYCJ and partners to achieve the ambitions set out in The Promise. Ross is very, very slowly undertaking a part-time PhD at the University of Strathclyde, looking at the life experiences of children who are placed within secure care.
