Secure Care in Scotland, Looking Ahead

The Scottish Government has commissioned CYCJ to deliver an independent, strategic and practice focused review of secure care services. CYCJ and With Scotland are holding a FREE one day stakeholder event for sector leads to explore this work on Thursday, 21 April 2016 from 10am – 3pm at The Scottish Universities Insight Institute, Collins Building, University of Strathclyde, 22 Richmond Street, Glasgow.

‘Secure Care Scotland, Looking Ahead’ is aimed at decision makers, senior policy, planning, operational, commissioning and practice managers who are concerned with the future of secure care and meeting the needs of our most vulnerable and troubled, high risk young people.

This event will also provide an opportunity to engage with senior decision makers and leaders who interface with secure care services. It will provide opportunities for sector leads to hear about what the project has learned so far, and to discuss and debate ways forward for the development of commissioning arrangements and the future purpose and function of safe care services.
