Young people and communities: Inside or Out?

CYCJ will be hosting an event that focuses on young people and their role in communities, as part of Engage with Strathclyde week.

Do communities have a positive relationship with young people? Are young offenders hoping to reintegrate into their community given enough support? Can young people and their communities work together to bring about change?

Speakers from Action for Children’s ‘Moving on Scotland’ project will give perspectives from a practitioner and a young person, with further speakers representing communities expected to attend. There will also be a panel discussion on the role and responsibility of the community in relation to young people and young offenders.

This will take place on May 6th, from 5pm. Refreshments will be provided. Find out more and register for a place.
