Movement Restriction Conditions and youth justice

The latest CYCJ Briefing Paper is now out, written by David Orr and entitled ‘Movement Restriction Conditions (MRCs) and youth justice: Learning from the past, challenges in the present and possibilities for the future’.

Drawing on qualitative and quantitative data from a survey of youth justice practitioners’ and managers’ experience of the implementation and use of movement restriction conditions (MRCs) in Scotland with young people involved in offending behaviour, it aims to place developments in Scotland in their international context and to identify learning for practice

You can view it here.

If reading this Briefing Paper influences your thinking or ideas about EM, why not submit a response to the current Scottish Government EM consultation or find out if your own organisation has plans to do so? Submissions are accepted until December 31, 2013. Read CYCJ’s response here.
