Socially Just Justice: An Interdisciplinary Research Network

Calling academics, researchers, practitioners and policymakers with an interest in social justice for young adults in conflict with the law

CYCJ, together with colleagues from the Universities of Strathclyde, Dundee and Glasgow School of Art, is establishing an interdisciplinary Research Network with funding from the Royal Society of Edinburgh.  In this research network we intend to explore socially just justice thematically, conceptually and methodologically. We want to draw upon network expertise and connections, as well as the evidence from our two socially just projects to date to:

  • connect and learn from a variety of perspectives and experiences;
  • develop methods, ideas and explore innovations;
  • explore opportunities for future research collaborations.

Read more about our plans for the network and the history of Socially Just Justice to date here.

The first network meeting will take place in September 2023 at the University of Strathclyde, with two further meetings to follow in November 2023, and January 2024.
