Research

CYCJ’s research workstream undertakes a diverse range of projects, working with youth justice stakeholders to inform better outcomes for Scotland’s children and young people.

Outputs have included work on responses to offending behaviour in residential care; loss, bereavement and trauma in the youth justice system; perceptions of early and effective intervention; stakeholder research into young people, crime and communities; exploring young people’s views on youth justice; and the future of youth justice in Scotland.
